Fiskari risteilyt Porvoossa

History of Fiskari Laxen

Laxen was carved in 1971-72 during the winter in Emäsalo. The boat was carved by Nils Uddströn, who used the boat until -95.

After that, the boat was used as a connection boat for a camping centre in the Turku archipelago and also for private use as a cottage boat.

From Turku the boat was sold to Helsinki, where it was used as a charter boat. In the winter of 2023, the boat was retrieved from Suomenlinna and refurbished during the spring.

Now LAXEN is back home again in Porvoo archipelago, carrying cruise passengers in the environment where it was originally built.

Welcome to experience the unique archipelago !
